Sometimes the course performance depends on the type of browser you use. We advise our students to use Google Chrome, but feel free to try different browsers (Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc) to see which works best for you.
We invite you to cancel your browsing history and cookies (if you don't know how to do so, click here).
Also check if you have a plugin that blocks cookies or an ad blocker installed in your browser (click on this link to learn more: http://bit.ly/33CeQ5z).
To complete the setup, you need to activate all permissions for playback and recording audio in the browser. To manage these permissions, click on the specific icon (padlock) next to the address bar at the top.
If you can't record your voice, open https://www.onlinemictest.com in your browser and check that you can record and play back your voice.
In case you are using a mobile device with operational system iOS it may be that you have to activate your microphone in your iPhone/ iPad settings. This option is located in (the device’s) “Settings > Privacy > Microphone”. Tap the mic icon and activate the option for the ABA English app.
In order to get the audio of our videos during the loading of them, you are asked to desactivate the physical button on your iOS device. If you don't have this button, you will be able to turn off the mute from the settings of the menu.
Please, bear in mind that if you need to keep the silent button activated, in order to get the audio, you just need to plug in your headphones and you will be able to hear the sound once again.
